I saw my environment differently than was presented in the mainstream. I found a new way to present what I see.

I want to show in my work that a landscape isn’t just a sunset along a lake, but infact can be as simple as a tree along a shoreline, or a tractor trail through a farmers field. Simple things that people walk past everyday and never really see the beauty in. I am showing the world through my eyes and getting the viewer to feel an emotional connection to the piece and to feel as if they were right next to me as I took the picture.

I have recently started to add conceptual work to my portfolio. This is both a challenge as an artist and as a photographer, which is proving to be rewarding and helping in my creativity as a landscape photographer.
